With our initial in-home consultation we will meet with you to discuss your ideas and make suggestions. In most cases we will be able to provide a preliminary estimate on-site! This allows us to accurately work with you on design and budget until you are satisfied with the scope of the project.

Picture this... Design Fee
For more detailed projects, you may require our design and layout services. We can provide drawings showing options for your proposed project. Fees for this design service vary depending on the size and scope of the project.

The Middleman... Insurance Retainer Fee
For a retainer fee we will provide the detailed estimate required by your insurance company. We will also serve as the middleman between you and the insurance adjuster to assure that you will receive fair compensation for your claim. The retainer fee will be applied to the total cost of your project.

Nice to see you again... Meet Back
After the initial in-home consultation, we will set an appointment to meet with you in our showroom. There, we will review your detailed estimate, answer any questions you may have about the proposal and note any changes you may have to the proposed project. We will also show you samples of some of the products we suggest for your project including tile, carpeting, plumbing and lighting fixtures and cabinetry.

We're ready when you are... Final Proposal
Once we have incorporated any changes you have requested, we will present the final proposal for your acceptance. After we receive your signed contract and initial deposit we will begin preparations for the construction phase, including detailed drawings required to obtain any necessary building permits.

Beige, tan or ecru?... Product Selections
We will help you choose products that fit within your budget and complement your design. Or if you choose, we can suggest many locations throughout the Chicagoland area where you can shop for products at your convenience.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Introducing... The Project Management
Now that you have chosen Home Revisions as your design/build firm, we will plan your project so that it flows smoothly. We will over see and manage your project through its completion and to your satisfaction. We are always available for any questions or concerns.
